Fauci is so disingenuous. He did not have the power to close schools, but he advocated for lengthy school closures and criticized Florida for requiring schools be open in 2020. Like everything else, Fauci was wrong on schools.

It was great to see so many foreigners enjoy themselves in the US and have positive reactions to Americans. But some of this was sad because it was clear that many had absurd preconceived notions due to mass media in their countries, especially in Europe. Like Mark Twain said,

There is nothing new under the sun. The socialist movement with the Democrat Party is recycling policies — from wealth taxation to government-run grocery stores — that been tried and failed in socialist countries in the past.
