Trainee Cabin Crew Applicants Selection Process
Here are the steps you need to complete to become a Cabin Crew Trainee:
1. Physical Screening and Document Check
#Education: You must score 200 or above on the Ethiopian University Entrance Exam.
#Age: You must be between 21 and 30 years old.
#Height:
Women must be at least 1.58 meters tall and able to reach 212 centimeters with their arm.
Men must be at least 1.70 meters tall.
#Weight: Your weight must correspond to your height. A BMI scale will be used for assessment.
For regional applicants, height and weight checks, along with document verification, will be conducted on the registration day.
2. Written Exam in English
You will take a short English test consisting of 25 questions. This format has been used in previous years and is likely to remain the same. Start preparing early and focus on English-related questions.
The exam includes: #Vocabulary: Word meanings, synonyms, and antonyms.
#Grammar: Correct sentence choices, tenses, and conditionals.
#Sentence Completion and Paragraph Questions.
#Spelling: Identifying and correcting spelling mistakes.
#Reading: Reading a short passage and answering questions.
Previous written exams, reading materials, or preparation materials will be shared when the time comes.
3. Deep Physical Screening
Those who pass the written exam will be called for deep physical screening.
This stage includes an assessment of your overall appearance:
🧑🦰 Face: No large scars, acne, or dark spots. Skin should be clear. No double ear or nose piercings.
Teeth: No large gaps, stains, braces, or double teeth. Teeth should be clean and healthy. Visit a dentist if needed.
Hands: No scars, tattoos, or damaged nails.
For Women: Wear a skirt that ends exactly at the knee. Legs should be shaved, clean, and free from visible scars or tattoos.
If you have highly visible scars, try to remove them or reduce their visibility as much as possible.
📌 #Note: These are only guidelines based on past screenings and are not the final requirements. Based on past experiences, outcomes may vary. It is best to try your luck. The final decision depends on the examiner.
Factors may include how visible a scar is, your smile, and your overall appearance. Use this as a guide and give it your best. Just show up and try! The decision is in their hands.
Good luck!
