He was awarded the title of Fellow of the British College of Public Health, one of the faculties of the British Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2011. He has published dozens of articles and research in Iraqi and international journals and chaired several committees in the World Health Organization, including the Consultative Forum for the Development of Medical Research.
