God Almighty said: “And recite the Qur’an with a recitation.” And Ali, may God be pleased with him, said: Recitation is the intonation of the letters and the knowledge of the pauses. Ibn al-Jazari, may God have mercy on him, said in the introduction: Adhering to the intonation is absolutely necessary. Whoever does not correct the Qur’an is sinful, because it was revealed by God, and so it is from it to us and it is connected.
