Backbiting: is mentioning a Muslim in his absence with what is in it that he hates to be published or mentioned. Slander: reminding a Muslim of what is not in it, which is lying in what is said about him. Gossiping: is transferring words from one party to another to create a quarrel between them. It is for the servant to do obedience, and abandon disobedience while noticing someone other than God, or informing about it.
