Геймдиректор Control Resonant рассказал о продолжительности игры и связи с Alan Wake

Геймдиректор Control Resonant Микаэль Касуринен поделился новыми подробностями о готовящемся экшене. В интервью MinnMax разработчик подтвердил, что на прохождение новой игры потребуется больше времени, чем на оригинальную Control. При этом он не стал уточнять, имеет ли в виду только основную сюжетную кампанию или весь доступный контент.

По словам Касуринена, история в Control Resonant будет разделена на главы, однако во время прохождения эта структура не должна ощущаться слишком явно. Ранее команда уже отмечала, что при создании игры вдохновлялась трилогией «Южный предел», романом «Пикник на обочине» и сериалом «Секретные материалы». В плане геймплея среди ключевых ориентиров разработчики называли DOOM 2016 и Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Касуринен также рассказал о системе развития главного героя. Его любимой формой Аберранта оказалась Молот. Остальные формы игроки смогут открывать постепенно по мере прохождения, собирая необходимые ресурсы.

Кроме того, разработчик отметил, что для понимания событий Control Resonant необязательно проходить дополнение AWE к первой Control. Отвечая на вопрос о связи новой игры с серией Alan Wake, Касуринен в шутку оценил её влияние на 2,5 из 10. По его словам, связь между вселенными есть, но ключевой роли она не играет.

Релиз Control Resonant запланирован на 24 сентября. Игра выйдет на PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S и ПК.
