HR is a hard and predatory business, so with this channel we aim to connect companies and potential employees who are more likely to already have some joint warm connections in the 🦞 ecosystem.
• Only known projects’ job listings will be posted here, otherwise we would get flooded with scam postings with fake zoom links… you know how it goes. That happened before, was a useless exercise for everyone, so no more. Whether a project is late stage or early stage, doesn’t matter, but we need to be able to vet you somehow (so find someone who can do that for you). Send your job posting message in the format like you see all the other posts above in this channel (name/position/salary/skills/remote/etc. regular information) to @ivangbi in DMs and then ping him to forward your message here. Done, simple!
• When potential hires want to apply for your listing, your job is to check whether you at least have mutual chats with that person where they are active. If you don’t find such, who knows, it might as well be a bot responding to your post or a north korean hacker. The internet is a dark forest these days, so you gotta filter all this yourself.
• If you are in lobsterdao kingdom (info is in @lobsterdao on what it is), you can post your project open role or your individual candidacy - that's open and encouraged. Don't do that in the main @lobsters_chat, that's an immediate permamute.
