Bitcoin vs China 🇹🇼

Taiwan has accumulated $602 billion in foreign exchange reserves. But there's one serious problem: 80% of that amount is held in U.S. dollars.

That's why the country is now officially discussing the idea of converting part of those reserves into Bitcoin.

The reason: Taiwan effectively does not control its money. And it's unclear what could happen to those assets if China ultimately attacks the island and Taiwan faces a major crisis.

🔐 A new philosophy of reserves

In the past, countries held their reserves in gold and U.S. dollars. But after several nations discovered that their money could be frozen at a critical moment, attitudes toward reserve assets began to change.

And Bitcoin is different: it isn't held in another country's bank, it doesn't need to be physically transported, and it can't be blocked by a single political decision.

Итак, в начале июля 2026 года биржи Bybit, Binance, Bitget и MEXC анонсировали кампании по токенизированной подписке на акции SpaceX, а 13 июня отменили раздачу акций прямо в день исторического IPO компании

Само размещение было крупнейшим: цена акции - 135 долларов, оценка компании - 1,77 трлн долларов, а спрос - колоссальный, но пользователи криптобирж так и не получили обещанных токенов

Почему это произошло? Биржа аллокаций вся цепочка поставок разрушилась

И проблема крылась не в блокчейне - все уперлось в банальную нехватку физического актива под токенизацию: организаторы IPO SpaceX жестко урезали долю розничных инвесторов, сократив ее примерно до 20% и отдав приоритет институциональным гигантам вроде BlackRock

В итоге провайдер xStocks просто не смог законно приобрести нужный объем акций на фондовом рынке, оставив криптобиржи с пустыми руками

Сейчас каждая из бирж выходит из ситуации по-своему: например, Bybit полностью отменила кампанию, автоматически вернула 100% средств в исходной валюте и выплатила компенсацию в размере 10% годовых за четыре дня удержания; Binance, собравшая 557 млн долларов в USDC через свой Web3-кошелек, тоже отменила кампанию и вернула все средства, а в качестве извинений запустила лаунчпад-аирдроп на миллион долларов в собственном токене SPCBX

📈 In a June 13 post on X, the Rich Dad Poor Dad author asked how much a trillion dollars is, then used the answer to attack dollar savings.

📊 Kiyosaki wrote that “cash is trash” and said savers of dollars lose purchasing power. He told followers to consider gold, silver, Bitcoin, and Ethereum. His post framed the U.S. dollar as vulnerable because, in his view, the Federal Reserve and U.S. Treasury can create money quickly.

⚠️ His trillion-dollar example also served as a simple visual for readers. By comparing one dollar per minute with the creation of new money, Kiyosaki tried to make a large number feel personal. The post did not include a detailed investment plan. It focused on the idea that cash loses value when supply expands. That framing matches his usual criticism of fiat money. It also fits his asset-focused brand publicly online.

‼️ The warning arrived during a weak period for crypto markets. Bitcoin traded near $64,569 on June 14, while Ethereum traded near $1,674, according to market data. Both assets remained far below their 2025 cycle highs after a sharp June selloff.
