Hey again. We keep improving, optimizing and fixing bugs. And given the load and the number of requests, there's plenty of them. Anyway, let's get to the list of what's new and not only. Brace yourselves, there's a lot:
— We moved the bot to the new system, but not your file history. So we had to run a migration, it took us almost two weeks, and we moved ~2 million files, which is a lot to put it mildly. The point? It all goes into cache, which means you get instant access to previously downloaded files with search. — YouTube: built a clever geo-block bypass plus a million optimizations (token caching, handler warmup and other technical stuff). Fixed generated subtitles downloading incorrectly. Some videos are unavailable, require authorization or are geo-restricted, the bot used to just error out, now we show the preview and title, and if there's data in cache you can download it (just no new formats). — Files with non-Latin names now get a proper name. We also slightly raised the filename limit to 65 bytes, sadly no more, it's a Telegram technical limit. — Google video search links and Google "Share" links (share.google/…) now unfold into the real source too. — New Apple iPhone compatibility mode: turn it on and video always arrives in H.264, which plays on any iPhone. Without it, some videos (VP9/AV1) show only the first frame and sound. — Albums and carousels the new way: pick the quality once for the whole group, and the entire album arrives in the resolution you chose. The picker header shows the contents, like "7 videos + 1 photo". Album results are cached, resending arrives instantly with no re-download (works even when the source is unavailable). — Fixed format priorities, figured out why some were getting lost, and tweaked correct codecs. On some services the bot got confused and could send a 4K video instead of the requested one, eating your traffic, that's fixed too. — Moved the ability to disable captions, meta info and media descriptions into settings. It's a global setting, so fewer buttons when picking a format to download. — Fixed a menu bug where the system complained about someone else's click, plus a bug where already-downloaded files from priority services triggered a size check that shouldn't apply. All good now. — Preview images were sometimes sent incorrectly, fixed. Also updated the cover art logic, now they're full-size images in the max available quality instead of cropped ones. — Added a new setting: "Auto-download without format selection". — A couple of TikTok updates: turned out the service uses some odd audio codec in its videos, and on audio export it didn't play for everyone. All fine now, downside being the file grew a bit in size. — Added Threads support, more specifically you can now download posts with video and photo carousels. — Spotify and SoundCloud: can't be downloaded directly due to DRM encryption, so the system automatically finds an alternative on YouTube (improved search and caching). A single-track album downloads as a regular song, and if the exact track isn't found, we send the closest match with a note. — Added support for t.co link redirects, before that the bot just threw an error.

И снова привет. Всё улучшаем, оптимизируем и исправляем баги. А их с учётом нагрузки и кол-ва запросов немало. Ну да ладно, перейдём к списку новинок и не только. Приготовьтесь, их прям много:
— Бота мы на новую систему перевели, а вот историю ваших файлов нет. Так что пришлось делать миграцию, заняло это у нас почти две недели, перенесли ~2 миллиона файлов, что мягко говоря много. В чём смысл? Всё это попадёт в кэш, а значит вы получите мгновенный доступ к скачанным ранее файлам с возможностью поиска. — YouTube: запилили хитрый обход гео-блоков плюс миллион оптимизаций (кэширование токенов, разогрев обработчиков и прочую техническую штуку). Поправили кривое скачивание сгенерированных субтитров. Часть видео недоступна, требует авторизацию или ограничена по географии, раньше бот слал просто ошибку, сейчас показываем превью и название, и если есть данные в кэше, вы можете их скачать (но новые форматы не получится). — Теперь у файлов не на латинице будет нормальное имя. Плюс слегка увеличили лимит на имена файлов, 65 байтов, к сожалению больше нельзя, технический лимит Телеграм. — Ссылки из видео-поиска Google и ссылки «Поделиться» (share.google/…) теперь тоже разворачиваются в настоящий источник. — Новый режим совместимости с Apple iPhone: включите, и видео всегда придёт в формате H.264, который проигрывается на любом iPhone. Без него часть видео (VP9/AV1) показывает только первый кадр и звук. — Существенно улучшили поддержку медиагрупп. Теперь бот может отправлять до 50 аудио-видео в одном посте, плюс кнопки теперь присылаются в том же посте, а не отдельно. В разы удобнее качать Instagram, ВК и Twitter. — Поправили приоритеты для форматов, разобрались почему часть теряется, плюс пошаманили с корректными кодеками. На некоторых сервисах бот путался и мог отправить 4K видео вместо запрошенного, сжирая трафик, это тоже пофиксили. — Вынесли в настройки возможность отключать заголовки, мета-инфу и описание к медиа. Настройка глобальная, так меньше кнопок при выборе формата для скачивания. — Поправили косяк с меню, когда система ругалась на чужой клик, плюс баг, когда для уже скачанных файлов приоритетных сервисов срабатывала проверка на размер, которой быть не должно, теперь всё нормально. — Иногда криво присылались картинки превью, поправили. Также обновили логику обложек, теперь полноформатные картинки вместо обрезанных максимально доступного качества. — Добавили новую настройку "Автоскачивание без выбора формата". — Пара обновлений для TikTok: оказалось, использует сервис использует какой-то странный аудиокодек в своих видео и при экспорте аудио оно не у всех проигрывалось. Теперь всё ок, из минусов файл чуть вырос в размерах. — Добавили поддержка Threads, если конкретнее то теперь можно качать посты с видео и фото-каруселями. — Spotify и SoundCloud: напрямую качать не можем из-за DRM-шифрования, потому система автоматически ищет альтернативу на YouTube (улучшили поиск и кэширование). Альбом из одного трека скачивается как обычная песня, а если точный трек не нашёлся, пришлём максимально близкий с пометкой. — Сделали поддержку редиректов по ссылкам t.co, а то раньше бот ругался ошибкой.
